ORLEN Baltics Retail, together with technology company “Inbalance Grid,” is taking an important step in the development of electric vehicle infrastructure. The companies have agreed to install 174 ultra-fast charging points at ORLEN stations in Lithuania by 2027, with an investment of around €10 million.
The first charging points are already available at ORLEN stations in Kalvarija and Kryžkalnis. By the end of 2025, 74 charging points are planned across approximately 30 stations located along highways and in major cities. The network will later be expanded by an additional 100 points.
15 stations will be transformed into charging hubs with 300 kW DC chargers. These sites will serve not only passenger cars but also trucks and buses, becoming key transit hubs for those traveling towards Poland or Latvia. New DC stations are operating in Vilnius, on Ukmergės st., near the Panevėžys bypass and in Marijampolė, near "Via Baltica" road.
ORLEN’s goal is to ensure that customers can charge their EVs quickly and conveniently while on the road, turning its stations into modern mobility centers rather than just fuel stops. The new infrastructure will be integrated into the company’s management systems and mobile app, making charging as simple and accessible as possible.
